Tremor Safe Pill Popper for Blister Packs
For millions of people living with Parkinson’s disease and age-related dexterity loss, something as routine as popping a pill out of a blister pack can become a struggle. Something as simple as popping a pill out of a blister pack can lead to dropped medication, broken tablets, and a loss of autonomy.
PillHero is my response to that challenge: a tremor-safe pill popper that transforms a frustrating task into an easy, single motion. The device uses a guided blister pack slot, a spring-loaded plunger, and a secure pill-capture container to ensure consistent, one-press pill removal with minimal force. A silicone-grip base stabilizes the device against tremors, while a twist-open bottom allows controlled dispensing. PillHero is a small intervention that aims to give users confidence in moments where they deserve ease, not struggle.
